is it fine to but up plaster boards on external corners or should they be pulled apart slightly for beading helpppppppppppp ??? ??? ???

when i used to work on site i did alot of boarding and i used to not leave any gaps or voids anywhere every thing was nice and tight and thats the way it should be mate, you shouldn't have to do any filling out with plaster when you are DRY lining thats why its called DRY because there is no wet plaster apart from the finish coat ;)
