Bonding coat or not?

Fellas,

I've got a 10m2 kitchen wall that has had its units ripped out and the tiling hacked off. Its a pretty uneven surface, but the client wants it flawless.

A guy told me that he would first lay a BG Bonding coat, then 2 coats of multifinish. Is this a good idea?, or should i just scrape it flati-sh, and get the MF on thick?

cheers,

WP

PS - What about BG Hardwall or Browning?

as warrior said bond and skim, but make sure all the tile adhesive is taken of ,prior to bonding wall as it can show through afterwards and make the wall look patchy

hardwall and browning are designed for masonary backgrounds, so bond and skim. JD, get the money and run!

did a wall, just the one wall, the other week...
it was once 3 rooms... all different levels some brick some plaster some board and it wanted a worktop all along the finished wall...
ended up dabbing board over the thick bits, hardwall over the brick bits and bonding over the plaster...
then used the feather edge over the multi...
