Its hard to get use to , probably as hard as rendering on a price on site , its just what you get use to same s**t different day ,not one or the other is better ,like i say its what you get use to .

with commercial work has anyone noticed an increase in expansion joints or has it always been like this ???

you are about 2 hours from where i am working mate if you want to travel it i will see if i can sort somthin out, it will only be a few days tough maybe two weeks tops. its buckingham in oxfordshire

cheers kirk you are a gentleman but i work in a gang and got stuff in pipeline thanx all the same

greed is good guy i work with the first thing that comes out of his toolbag is a tape measure to see what we can earn

sound, started putting the running rules up today (roof battern) but it kept snapping, i need to get a circular saw to cut some slices in the wood :-\

kirk i've never done anything like that mate, but can't you use poly pipe or something like that?

i have only scratch coated the turret where the moulding is being run and i can only use what is on site ;) the chipie said he will cut slices in the baton's for me and i will put them so the slices are against the wall so that they dont make the template judder ;) oh and i am using a peg running mould

if you know the radius you could run sme rules out of casting plaster just divide them by three to give you manageable lengths

i could talk to you all night mate;D there is more running to do on the job, all the windows are arched at the top so i will have to run all the reveals and over the arch as the window frames are flush with the block work

geezer i worked with was mustard at running go on alexandra palace .com click on testimonials a picture comes on top says palm court where they hold the darts matches its the second pic there is cornice on there 7ft girth

ally pally, the home of world darts! i'd love to work there. as a darts player at the world championships rather than a plasterer.

the firm i am doing this for recon that they get loads of this stuff but didnt know anyone that could do it, so they just turn it away, might be my foot in the door this job ;)
