Hi, looking for advice as only been plastering for a few months. Customer has asked me to plaster on to brickwork after he blue grits it, it's been glossed on before. I wouldn't feel Comfortable putting multi finish straight on it, I would think of float and set instead but he's looking for cheapest way possible, anyone ever tried it?

You can't put multi finish on to brickwork, tell him it needs dabbing or floating or your not doing it....if the costs to much tell him your not bothered

What kind of brickwork is it?

If he can't afford to do it properly mate then walk away! He'll still be calling you when it fails wanting it done properly and your end up boarding or floating as other lad has said.Hear it all the time with clients wanting to cut corners and I just walk away.
