Why is it on the same day they announce steel production in u.k is doomed..that the Chinese are going to give £40 billion to have a slice of British nuclear..
Can't stop thinking why don't we make the best trowels in the world and buy and use ones from Germany and America when we produce the best steel in the world!
Why do we have to get Chinese to help heat our homes when we make and could install ewi to quite a lot of buildings in the u.k that wouldn't need as much heating?

Just don't understand why we are not doing more in Britain.
 
Chinese had to put back something into the pot after taking another slice of the steelwork away to keep their economy going. Unfortunately everything is driven by cost and price therefore they have to outsource things to foreign countries like China whos able to copy any product in a massive scale for peanuts. Government looking at short term having 40 billion invested is a good thing, 2000 steel workers would never put that into the economy. This is happening all over Europe, Asia takes manufacturing over, the west is just a consumer not a producer.

Said on the news last week that China exports over 100 million tons a year and has over 250,000 tons surplus every year we dont even make 100,000 tons a year so thats what your up against even if their steel is inferior, if the lads in steel factory worked for nothing they still couldnt make it cheaper.....sad times
 
Talk about Britain ruling the world.They tried it before and I don't think it worked out too well.
