Broken Ankle

Looks like I'll be back on my lonesome for a few weeks. My apprentice jumped off a hop up the other day without looking down and landed on top of an extension reel and went over on his ankle :rayos:
I turned around to find him rolling around in agony on the floor. It swelled up fast and went purple o_O looked nasty! X rays say it's broken.
The importance of a tidy workplace. I'm always telling him. He's learnt the hard way :endesacuerdo:

6 weeks for a labourer that cant do anything... ouch!!

Can you get him doing some pr work or something instead...
I'll have to think of something. Paying him to sit playing COD is going to piss me right off when I'm grafting away

I struggled to begin with when the boy left to work elsewhere. But kind of glad I'm on my own again now. Only rendering will pose a problem but I'm not worrying about that as can always ask some of you lot if I end up struggling (y)

the amount of bloody tax we pay .....the goverment should be giving us our bespoke refugee.
1 for work
1 as a butler.

many years ago there was a plasterer i knew who one sunday had a few to many beers,.....there was a horse outside the pub,....he got it into his head he could ride this horse,...he went outside got on and majestically rode off into the sunset, doing daring acrobatic turns as they rode along,.......well that was the theory,.....after a few yards he fell off said horse and broke his ankle,....never lifted his handboard in anger again for 18 months
