bull nose with a stupid feature at the top

i hate doing these,they have got a sort of upsidedown v ontop of the bullnose,did 4 of them today perfect(re-skim) propper pain in the arris :D

anyone got any tips? i use a plastic bag.
 
You mean the birds beak ;D
I just use a template(only on backing coat) then trowel & a wet brush sometimes a sponge ;D
 
speaking of Kirks guides - did he do one for making ceiling roses? i'm sure i saw it a while back but can't find it, just did a search and all i came across was a row between him and rockhard - funny stuff when you read back

Yes that's rite it was kirk V's rockhard for a while.
But i told everyone at the time he'd gone into hiding abroad & changed his disguise but not his name. :o

thought you was the best plasterer in wythenshawe and you never knew what a birds beak was hmmmmmmmmmm

i aint from wythenshawe and i have done loads of them over 19 years(never heard it called a birds beak) just asking how other people do them.
