Burnt in trowels

Hi,
I've just recently went out and bought a 11" and 14" Marshall town trowel not realising how long they take to wear in. Is there any shop I can take them that will wear them in for me?

Try an oil stone or a diamond block to speed up the process. I think Danny sends his trowels somewhere but nothing beats using them on s&c or the final trowel to be honest.

I bought a Tyzack pre worn trowel as a spare 6month ago.
Good finishing trowel...used it straight from the packet and worked ok.At the moment i only use it for When im squaring up and doing my first polish but in time it will be the daddy.

But dont get me wrong you could use it straight from the packet and do a pretty good job

I buy my trowels from building tools and they burn them in.

However I burn some of my other trowels on hard render..... then tidy it up with the oil stone
