Any one good a good site to buy beads off? not sure what the best beads are..
i like the Catnic ones but iv just read some were that they are 4-6mil and are for one coat plastering?

i find the TP 3-4mil ones so cheap and crappy and they want £2.40 a 2.4bead! online about 70p-80p a bead in packs of 50

R & J are pretty cheap , not got a number though sorry, i think there from blackburn way , but if you use them they will keep ringing you for a sale.

I have been working for a guy recently who has a load of metal skim beads that must be 10-15 years old and they are lovely to use, very heavy solid construction not the wafer thin rubbish like we see today.

I used to use R&J. Most things I bought from them I returned because it was cheap Chinese crap. The scrim wouldn't stick, the thincoat beads were rubbish, the paper tape was like bog roll, and that Jamie that works for them kept ringing and ringing and really got on my tits.
