:RpS_cursing: Out of work now a week and nothing coming thru for at least 2 more weeks. Then the bloody cat decides to get ill,so I take it to the vet on Bank Holiday monday,£120 just to see him! 5mins!!:RpS_cursing: Then they tell me he will need to stay in overnight,another £520!! So picks him up next morning and by afternoon he had to go back,another £260!!!! so thats getting close to a grand in less than 24 hours!! And now he's in for another night! Not been operated on for that money,just meds and care. From now on Im gonna rip every c**t off!:RpS_lol:
 
Here's how that should have gone.

You - "Hello Mr Vet, my cat's sick"
Vet - "That'll be £120 just to look at the furry little b*****d"
You -" Put the f**k*r down then"

Quids in!
 
They have you by the balls these vets because you know you will pay the money to keep the pet alive.best thing is go on the dole and its all free.
 
I drove to sheffield yesterday no powder came, booked a lad into digs and came back home to see to another job, exhaust snapped on the way. job at home needed some external board asap, usual local supplier never had any had to send over to yorkshire for them, so haulage cost went up

Fuel = £45
carriage charge = £85 plus vat
Exhaust tomorrow = £300 plus vat
Digs for Lad = £35

this was my previous two days and tomorrow morning and the subbies think I am the one making the money? I have spent all that and earned nothing this week - welcome to the world of contracting mofos

I would put up with the shite if there was any money in the trade

Sometimes I wonder if life might be better on the dole. Seem worse of for working like a c**t and drivin hundreds of miles a week to some hellhole of a site for s**t money
 
Well this how it gets you spready and why so many lads who get laid off say feck it, and sign on and a few odd days cash in hand .
 
This is my point, the government do not get it! the worse they come in with cuts at such a delicate time but all they are doing is puting more people on the dole so anything they save is gone straight back out in social. I know a lad who I want for sites cos he is really good but he is better off doing the dole and the odd private and he will not come back on site not until the money is back where it was
 
This is what happened before and a lot of lads from all trades left found other jobs and then were told there is a skill shortage hmm this time we have an influx of eu workers taking up the slack in this last boom. They will struggle like the rest of us to earn a coin as things stand.
 
That may well be right gibbo maybe life here is a whole lot better then were they have come from.
 
We do not seem to have that problem here most poles work in the fish houses but not that many now. I was told if they go home for 3 months they can claim there taxes back they have paid here,
