Ceiling spacing advice

hello everyone. Fully expect to get shut down but just wanted some opinions.

I took some (probably) wrong advice and boarded my ceiling 12.5mm 8x4s with the attached screwing pattern. 9 on board ends, 3 in the field along the joists with a single on the perimeter. I now believe i should have went 4 in the field, so my question is should i just throw 9 along each joist as in the butt ends or just leave it with the 300mm field spacing?
Thanks muchly.

That's my pattern for a 6x3 - 6 to 7 on ends 5 on other rows

For 8x4 another 1 or 2 on each for 12.5mm standard

If fire or sound or 15mm boards up it again.

Also if joists are f**k*d or twisted screw pattern may change again.

thanks gentleman, your responses are much appreciated. I went with the 9 on the ends as i was told that every 150mm was required, probably a load of rubbish but there you go. So i'll just stick with the 5 on every joist you reckon, or nothing to be gained by something like "a double" at the perimeters? Joists are new and pretty straight. Just dont want to be caught short, so to speak.
