If your van is big enough get the Belle Maxi, mine stands up behind seats of vw transporter easily and is a better tool to use because of it's more traditional stance, you can mix screed better in it too and it's not on one of those silly stands.

i only ever hire em, £10 a day or £30ish for the week, buying one would just take up room in the shed

I had the belle 150 110v a few years ago it was about £250 from jewsons
they were the cheapest out of about 6 places i tried at the time.
I can get it in & out the van on me own no probs ;)
Fits snug in the transit ;)
And yes it has got a silly stand but I quite like it ;D
Used maxi before, they are good too.

But renting is another option like pug says, especially if you don't do loads.

Smaller jobs though I can't be arsed using it I just mix it in a bath with a shovel it's quicker ;D

I got one of the mini ones as they are called the drum is actually the same size, I dont do much rendering I avoid it like the plague but I had a job on and wanted to do some stuff here at the house.

Its £200 and in my opinion is sound for ocasional work.

The drum comes off dead easy too which is great for transporting

u cant beat a belle, they're cheap as feck and
last for years. I see nisus is back patching up
after sparkies again ;D
