Used it over artex today, skimming over it tomorrow. Very similar to WBA BUT you don't need to mix it. It's consistent from the off. Quite surprised to see it didn't say how long to cure on the back of the tub! 10 ltrs for £41 Anybody used it?

Aye marra, and just like your stuff it doesn't need remixing, cos it's made from recycled plastic window frames I think :RpS_thumbup:

Just be sure there's no suction cos it doesn't kill the suction as good as Bond-it or Bettakontakt do :RpS_thumbup:

Used it all the time casper better on painted surfaces but still good on artex all the same.

I don't like the cementone stuff. i've used it twice, first time I used it you could rub it off once it was dry, second time, over old render, it sucked like £10 whore.
If you do use it, as Bubbles said, use a water based stabilizer like Stabilex first.

If it's high suction i always pva first, then apply bond it, goes so much further the bond itm and hangs about lovely when plastering if doing large areas....i done a 40M2 artex ceiling on my own with this method was a doddle....

Hi casper I use a block brush to apply it, and it's bubbles who keeps mailing me about painting all over me naked body hmm.

I'm telling ya H, mix with some wallpaper paste and jump into a giant poly bag with the missus :RpS_thumbup:

I couldn't think of anything worse than lookin at that. Rather use BLUE grit.

Oh and Al, nothing would go with your carpet except a skip.

I'm gonna stick (lol) with WBA and pva mixed together. True enough plasprime doesny stop suction and as someone has already said, the grit can be rubbed off when dry.

Blue grit is half the price of plasprime, kills suction a little and can be mixed with PVA, SBR or both. You can get well over 100m2 out of a 20 quid tub (10ltr).

Used bond it's version a lot yellow in colour kills suction good and when dried the
Grit is rock hard and at £20 from dbp had problems with plasprime
