I've had that same bucket for 6 years and the paddle has just worn a split in the bottom. On the look out for another.

Get a large diesel drum. Same as the large mortar mix drums. Think they are 5gallon. Cut the top of and put 2 hole in it and fit a builders bucket handle to it. Great job and just the right size.

r and j do a 50l for around £20 and they are belters........

Surely they last a while ? I just use different size rubber buckets for different mix's , even the cheap ones last me a little while ?!? Got decent ones atm and still goin strong , not as in gorrilla tubs but if u shop around u can get decent ones . Ur miles away from me so not even naming places lol get shitty ones at tesco etc but they do the job for a good bit time still ? I thought the refina ones but be solid and last yonks lol
