The side of my chimney need to be re-rendered as the old render has blown.
I have knocked all the old render off and cleaned it.
I have been looking a several bonding agent options and the brick work is in very poor condition so the basecoat is likely to end up quite thick.
Everbuild 507 Redagrip looks quite good but is it an overkill, anyone any experience?
Cemontone SBR admixture is also a possibilty I have looked into.
Anyone have any options, options or advise for me?
Cheers

Rendagrip will be easier for a diy'er to go use.
Just paint on leave to dry and then render over.
SBR if used wrong will just cause you headache and problems
