how much is it. sounds like its worth jetwashing it first so u only need one coat.
i use enewall fungicidal sealer prior to overend a tenner for 5 litres. can be used over mono aswell to seal it and over stone and brick to make it easy to clean

its about 100 including the dreaded. I always jet wash painted substrates any how. we use it to get rid of salts as well if the blockworks been left prior to mono.

yep its good stuff is the enewall gear, enewall have a separate product that's a wash aswell, that's better than lanko for me.
I always use there sealer anyhow on mono, just makes for a better job. ive also used it on an acrylic job we did and the render was black we used it to preserve the colour to stop uv breaking the colour and it went miles. enewall make an equivalent parinter too and its like shite to the blanket.

i been using them since 2002 . deliveries can be a pain but the gears cheap. whats the equivalent parinter. is it base adhesive

im only about a year with them, yes base adhesive,
im direct so deliveries arnt much of an issue, apart from when it comes to our yard on a 44 tonner , and theres a few starting to stock it now, so we can pick up if short etc.

i used to get phone calls from delivery drivers 50 miles away who wouldn't unload because there was nobody on site even though we didnt have a clue they were coming. To the yard is ok for adhesive or dash receivers because i can take that quietly to the job as for mono etc it has to be local supplier with a moffet so they can stack it neatly till i get to the job. Fukk trying to push pallets with a pump truck over a curb :RpS_mad:

Do parex specify pinning the base coat

If its sound and well bonded you don't need pins for parinter.

Not sure about the same with enewall base adhesive tho. Been told two different things by guys out on road and guys in the factory.
Deliveries do need sortin tho.

you can use your own haulage firms. We used to use a bloke who was up that way regular. the price was about the same TBH. it works out about 1.50 a bag. that brings classic stone up to over 8 quid a 25 kg bag. parex or weber work out cheaper for monocouche and the stuff is delivered with a moffet which is great.

Would parinter not crack if you tried to drill into it as it's not flexible like basecoats would be?

Parinter would not carck any more than a poly base if they had gone hard. poly base is flexible but if your hammering and drilling it will cause damage on impact, its not rubber. thing is with drilling its only a hole no crack will form. anyway its best to do it whilst the gear is still green.

thing is blone i dont think its the haulage firms its the warehouse or summit that tend to fk up from what lads are sayin. probably all change when they up output and they got dedicated silos for each product. there is a jock on here been using it years always had issues with delivery.

just order it well in advance i guess is the trick.

I just picked up 2 roughcast jobs of the back of that one i did i was telling you about before xmas using their cast. now as far as cast goes that is good stuff
