With weather been cold so is the tap water a bit more colder. Mixing multi today and it was like treackle. So got to thinking is the colder the water effects the mix . Could not add warm water no boiler in house just thinking out loud.

As long as it comes out in liquid form thats good enough for me.Turened up and the tap was froxen, house refurb and the tight **** turned all the heating off.

Water will be colder at the moment, just think when you use the shower, you need to adjust the setting to hotter so that it's the same warmth as yr used to. Basically you're telling the shower unit to cook the water more. Mind you - I don't know if that affects the mix, but the chemists will be along to let us know :RpS_thumbup:

says on the bag doesnt work right below 1.5 degrees or it used to...
might be extended in cold weather now though...

anyroad, it takes forever to go off if its proper freezing in the room... just chuck the whole room on and have a sandwich then trowel it all up again slowly..

ive got a mini space heater little 'master' thing on the job... runs on deisel... f'ckin godsend cos the jobs no heating, no plumbing cept the stopcock etc.. works a treat, lash it on and flatten it then stick the heater in the room... done in no time :RpS_thumbsup:

Has anybody else had it where the gear kinder separates from itself when its been cold? then goes very sticky?

I skimmed a loft conversion and it was freezing and was a bitch then we got one of these jet engine type heaters... lovely job :-)
