Hello I'm new to this site and still a young plasterer at 25 so will be spending alot of time on here from now on ! My first question is , what would be the safest and easiest way to go over concrete ? There's an outside wall I am roughing at the moment ready for the finish of monorex . I have dubbed out and next coat is over the concrete that runs thorough the length of the wall . I was curious to see what would be the alternatives and any help will be appreciated , thanks

hi mate,,, mesh or eml it,, make sure you go over the joins by at least 150mm, the use rendaid,, thats what i would do for s/c,, guessits the same for the gear you are useing

Thanks , Mesh as in the render mesh the same stuff as we use in ewi ? That would be quicker for me , as long as It was safe that would be much easier than trying to fix eml. From South Wales

Whereabouts in glorious sunny south Wales are you from my love?

You ought to ask this question under Rendering. Plenty of Parex lads on here who could suggest what Parex undercoat to use.

Give Parex a call and ask for their rep for that area. They will advise you on there products. They will probably suggest Microgobetis primer or monogris e as a Basecoat with either av355 mesh and or TV10 mesh in the monorex. Plus you can join Parex uk website for all the technical info on product to get you up to speed.
