Could of done with some bead tape today

But since I had to mix dab and scrim on the job, saved myself a fiver for that gold on a roll with holes.
 
I wonder how many on here scrim beads.
We have never done and had no problems.
i have a theory that beads that crack are due to being slightly loose when skimmed but it is only a theory so don`t hang me.

I don’t on board but do on re skims

I have a theory that PVA doesn't re emulsify sufficiently for a proper bond
Another is beads are more likely to crack if not bedded onto skim and also need tape on top
Another theory is ceilings are more likely to crack if joints are on a joist

Another theory is I will die a poor man

dying poor is ok , means you have spent it all.
