just received a contract for pricing, its from the local authority/housing the details were:
the address of the flats (ie 14 john barnes way), plaster walls and install ceiling, render outside smooth finish.
Thats it thats exactly how it reads plus we would like your price to bla bla address by friday???
no measure, no spec, no inclusions/attendences etc.

Yeah i should expect anything these days but what the hell am i going to price. Gonna have to go to the site and do a quants bill myself. not ideal.

send them a letterhead with a price on it .....nothing else

I've tendered for a couple of jobs for the council in the past and there should be the tenants name and contact details so you can make arrangements to go and view the job, that's how my local council go about it anyway.

its empty this property, its the model flat for a further 200 dwellings based on the one price. gotta do wots gotta be done in this climate tho it could turn out to be alot of work
