coving , how to get round pipe trunking

Putting up lafarge 120 coving & i'm stuck at this corner , the trunking covers pipes to the radiator & is 2 1/4 " x 1 1/4" , ive tried cutting the coving but it's looks like a pigs ears so i'm wondering how the Professionals would do it ?
if you know any can you go and ask them for me :RpS_lol:

Welcome to the forum marra............that looks tricky.............:-0 dont think you've got much option but to cut the bottom of the coving out
 
measure to the wall not the box cut your angle. offer it up so its sitting on the box mark it and cut out tight neat cut it will look fine
 
cut the mitre then just cut the underneath, oooorrrrrrrrrrrrrr chop the box then notch out at the bottom of the coving where the pipes go
 
can you not measure down from the ceilin as far as the cove will go mark it then carefully cut this bit of the boxing off leaving a little bit of the pipe showing (the bit that goes behind the coveing) then cut your cove tight to this so the cove is tighter to the corner
 
You need my mrs to tell you mate, every thing I do she telling me how it should be done. Anyone else got a mrs who knows everthing about plastering , tileing. woodwork , painting, the list is endless:RpS_thumbsup:

no mate it doesnt flood round our house but there are loads of floods around my town, its fncking leet :RpS_scared:

canny bit rund wor way an al........same house that got flooded a couple of years back......no local trades got any graft from the insurance companies..........*****............:RpS_thumbdn:

got nowt to do with dampproofing marra...cos its not damp. get the heaters and dehumidifiers in..........hackoff 600mm above the waterline and replaster......had companies from down your way and the midlands getting paid s**t loads to come up here doing refurbs and drinking aal our bottles of dog. even getting skips form your way as well............:RpS_thumbdn:
 
the only companies to profit were the builders merchants...and all the resisdents said the standard of work was dogshit
 
dint mean it cos its damp ment because there all fixed up to rip all the s**t out they deal with it day in day out, maybe wrong though
what companies was it FSH?? maybe you could give the driver of the skip wagon you part of the Dreamteam fund to pass to me :RpS_lol: UP THE ROVERS

most of the work went to building firms. A couple of my marra's have building companys and they were easily under cutting the insurance compaines prefered firm by 10 grand and they were still making good money.but the insurance companies werent interested. probably loads of back hands knocking around.......:RpS_thumbdn:. charging 70-80 grand for a down stairs refurb.........scandalous
 
Could you not take the pic any further away? Lol, lovin. the car door in the room? Is that so you can roll down the window an let some fresh air in:RpS_lol:

my coveings the same ian haha i just get the hump with it and throw it across the room and storm out for a fag haha, if its a fairly straight forward room its fine but if not:RpS_cursing:
