anybody know where to get the metal tool that you use to cut the mitres on coving? i want one that does both the normal curved coving and another that does the more ornate coving.

mitre box does both... i just have some saw cuts in the bottom where to line the edge up to keep it square for both 4" and 5" works on cornice and cove..
doesnt help much but there y go.. :-\
tried the 'cove mitre' once and it did my head right in ;D

under a tenner i think, but the last time i bought one was quite a few years back and my memory is fcuked!

lol! i got an ornate one from them as well, only paid 3 grotes and a bag of grain for it... i think!

got a plastic cove box u can have it if u pick it up from wigan

might be a liiiiiiiiiiittle bit far from coventry mate, i prefer the metal ones because there small and can fit in the tool box.

Dulux trade centres do em aswell mate.
You want a big mitre box for ornate cove/cornice.
Also the mitre mate tool won't work with swan neck cove.
Just have to mark it out in mitre box.

ive got themagic mitre great bit of kit an it fits em all in it its great if your internals are out an your externals cos it just finds em
