Did some work for a girl last year and she called me back last week to look at some more work. Straight forward divivding wall been pulled down creating through lounge kitchen. Repair need to ceiling then make good all walls before new kitchen goin in. Problem is she has plaster coving fittted throught the entire lower living apace and kitchen. THere is now a void in 2 areas of coving (where wall was) about 12" long. Problem is coving is slightly different size so a simple replacement 12" piece would look silly. Is there any alternative to ripping all the coving down and replacing throughtout? How would you fix the 12" voids to look cosmetically good?

Windy do you mean Gyproc type coving or fibrous plaster? If Gyproc like Bod says have it down if fibrous run it as suggested by Beddy.
