Hi guys,
One thing that's always interested me is plaster setting times.Had a few strange setting times myself when I been on jobs and like most of you I would presume if you got a heater on the van would bang it on to try speed setting up or if I thought some ventilation was needed would open some windows etc .I read yesterday a dude say he had a 5 hour set time with some out of date unifinish and thought straight away he must of used pva before using it which I have done before and had a 4 hour set time on 2 bags and a laying on bag set.But my point is not uni I seen a couple of dudes on here say they have had 4 -5 hour set times with multi and board and knauff ..all plasters with or without addition additives.
If you have had long crazy set times (I talking 4 plus hours) thought it would be a good thread if you could share what it was you used, how many bags, how long and why you thought it was.?
Probably it will go off topic within one page but if it don't
Thanks
