curves

how do you guys attack a curve on a wall or a lid. what would you say is the best method without leaving it really thin right on the apex of the curve. i dont seem to be flattening it , to me it looks like im just scrapeing it away

The new plastic trowels are the business for this. They have a sponge built into them which makes curves a dodle as the blade is very flexible.
 
iv cut a plant pot dish in half then the middle cut out the roll on the edge (curve)
is the mutz nutz for this job lay it on then just keep going over it with the former.
Till you get what you want let it pick up then trowel it off.
 
I think it's all your leval of skill with the trowel. I suppose you would dub the curve out first so all you have to do is skim following the contour of the ceiling.

iv got a day of it tomoz
and it go's a bit like this feed baby 4am ish/8am ish get up get the little girl ready for pre school
get too work 9:30am ish start grading off driveway wait for delivery am drop yer b*ll*x
then start laying 200 block pavers (as edging) 12:30( lunch time ) go pick up the little girl from pre school then get back too work:RpS_crying:
than maybe just maybe start knocking up two tone of concrete mite even get home by 6ish if i drink 30 cans of redbull 2 box of propluss
going too try it anyway want too be off site by saterday morn can afford too be there much longer
