on a job damp course has been don plaster has been taken off back to brick work ameter high, i have rendered,undercoated befor and then skimmed. but we always used dry coat its ready mixed and designed for use on damp courses all you do is just add water but on this job the customer want buy it cos of cost so have to mix sand and cement, which have never don befor so i need to know what sand to use and mix ratio,also i thought it was important to use lime render on damp courses but the builder on sight says sand and sement is fine, is lime render only for really old stone house this is a terest house as much info as pos please
