Older buildings with solid walls need to breathe. Using impermeable EWI, renders or injecting the walls with damp proofing cr4p stops that and damages the building.

Like I said, nothing we didn't know but confirmation from a scientific study.

No, but printing out that pdf and handing it to a customer when quoting huge sums for lime work might be handy.
