can you not just tank it? it will be done in no time

i know its not always possible mate but try and leave a few days between coats to help prevent cracking

i dont think iam going to have that long to let it dry ,the blokes fitting new kitchen up against the wall end of the week ::) just anouther one of them jobs ,

dpc inside and french ditch/landscape the exterior.a liquid membrane would work well in between your cement scratch and a coat of bonding b4 you skim it.

DO NOT use any gypsum based backing coats , use a cementitious slurry ie Heidi k, vandex etc etc , or mix your own with sbr and rapid set cement, stipple it well and then top in sand/cement with a 4-1 gauging mix of sbr and water (whilst still tacky if poss), make sure you tank down over any exist concrete floor with slurry mix by 100mm and hack off and treat a min of 1.5mtr from floor level (internal or external) skim it day after you will be ok ( only need to let it cure properly when rendering over dry substrates) this system needs moisture to cure properly , so if the substrate is dry then you need to wash down with a 9:1 mix of sbr and water so the substrate is damp but not wet (no surface water) before applying slurry.

warrior your are like zorro. no one heres from you for years. some say you've died, some say you've retired and now own a vineyard in italy. then all of a sudden
