been to look at a job today for a bedroom reskim, all was fine apart from the outside wall, it hs moisture on the internal wall, and its got patches of black coming through, the customer said the window in the morning is full of condensation and the windowsill is very wet. there doesnt seem to be any air vent/brick in the bedroom is this the cause of it?
she also said there used to be an old gas fire with a flue going right through to the outside and it didnt happen then but its been all taken out and bocked up and plastered last year,

any help guys would be appreciated,

you have answered your own question mate , put an air brick in

would it have to be an air brick or could i drill holes in the wall and stick on an air vent/louvre and would i have to go through the external brickwork too, sorry this is a bit new to me but thanks for replying

there should be a vent in the fireplace
