Hi all , I've been asked to dry dash the front of a house . The one thing that's worrying me is the house is finished with k-rend . Anyone done this before ? Do you think the usual scud, scratch and dash will hold or would it be safer to prime the k-rend and use a synthetic base coat to dash into instead . Thanks in advance

If it was me I would use a scabler to take it off but I dont have any experience in covering k rend
But I like belt and braces
Not sure though if its over kill
Hope someone with more knowledge than me can help

why are you dashing over it, is it because of the finish on the krend is bad? If so i would mesh it with hp12 and use weatherby dash receiver and dash.

Dashing over K-Rend?

They will be re-artexing the ceilings I skimmed to cover artex next? :RpS_confused:
