was going to give the kraft 16x4.5 trowel a go but never used anything bigger than a 13 really have any of you lads tried the 16 just think it would be a good allround trowel also kraft tools are awsome its not as wide as the marshys either which i like

they are just nicely balanced henry i have a small carbon one for rendering they seem lighter aswell think that might just be the swedish steel they use im more botherd about the 16inch size but fookit might just go for it pretty pricey thouh

My Dad always use to say "Do not be penny wise and pound cheap when buying tools" so a decent trowel will give you good service.

Never even heard of them, I'm gonna try a refina s*p*r*lex next, just had the catalogue through the post. The plastic ones look good as well I might get the 24" for polishing.

Good quality Kraft. The hawks especially. Avaliable from Carobyn. Bought a trowel sharpener made by kraft a few years back and it brings any old trowel back to life.

Google "Kraft trowel sharpener" About $30 + delivery + import tax. Dont think there is a british firm selling them.

well worth getting. It has guide rails either side of the file and is a lot easier to get a good edge compared to a stone.
