hi guys as im kinda new to all this still baffled sometimes when i look at answers on this forum . ive just done the basics ie dot & dab and you basic reskims and basic internal rendering wi browning so get confused when some products are mentioned .....
1 . hardwall wots this for and the situation i would use it ..?
2. the difference between wba and a quality pva ?
3.some of you use a staple gun to fix your bead .. is this only on plasterboard or do they go into normal interior walls?
4.stop beads?

kinda basic things for the knowledgable guys on here so your help is appreciated

1.Use it the same way you would Browning, Hardwall is more impact resistant and can be skimmed the same day once chemical set has taken place
2.PVA is a sealer/bonding agent you water it down pre manufacturers instructions / WBA is a ploymer based coating which has silicone sand aggregate in it , which will set rather dry on applcation mostly used on surfaces with little or no key to improve adhesion.
3. Staple guns work well in plasterboard and anywhere the staples can penetrate the substrate , a person preference tool
4. Stop beads are used to form a neat edge and finishing point to plaster/ render availble in different sizes/ thicknesses from 2/3 mm for skim finish to 21mm for two coat renders made from metal and plastic.
