Do do think re skimming is more skillfull then working on new build. I will say I dont think you can get the same standard as new build but you are dealing with different back grounds on re skims and many more problems then normal artex been one of them.

I agree too henry especially as you are normally going over someone else's crap plastering but some are very flat indeed but not very often.

Yes Henry definitly, thats why I dont get how people say skimmings a piece of piss and the easiest part of plastering, its not at all, it takes a long time to master it, on any background! skimming some shockingly pissed and crap walls is highly impressive in my opinion!
