Hi
I've had the side my house rendered but to me the job looks rough. The photos don't show how bad it really looks-not very smooth like I was told it would be. And the edges are not straight. Some bits have fallen off and underneath it is crumbly-a builder came and looked at it and said the mix was not right and it should be rock hard. Is he right? There's also a lot of cracks which looks bad and I'm worried water will get in them. The people who did it came and did some bad looking patching. From the pics what do you think?
Cheers

Looks bang on to me:numberone::cry:

Did they offer to tarmac your drive while they was there.

The work is rough but what research did you do and was this a 'cheap job'.

I get people ring me and make it obvious it has got to be cheap or the cheapest quote gets the job. I always walk, waste of my time.

It looks like a cheap type job to me.

The plasterman could nip over and cover it with some nice unifinsh....get nice and smooth, maybe even give it some proper corners.

In all honesty I'd be liable to punch the bloke who did that to my house.......as long as he wasnt bigger than me. Its wrong for someone to just go and have a go like that.....i don't even render and know that he could have used stop beads, corner beads and not rendered to the floor bridging the damp proof. Makes you sick that people will go and do that to someones house and still accept the money....id hang my head in shame and tell him to keep the money to sort it out.

Rant over:mad:

I would say it was there first attempt at something they may never attempt again or lets hope,having said that the client is partly to blame thinking it was normal to be flailing the muck with a badger.:sorprendido3:
What does flailing the muck with a badger mean...i have no clue but it made me laugh

When people post these pictures they never come back to say how it all ended

@Josh55 can u post more pictures so we can see the whole house?

Question is who looks at that and hands over the dosh? Then comes on here for comformation of what they already know, what really is the point ?
Im lost
Does this rendering look acceptable?

True...I wouldnt need confirmation, just look at your neighbors houses....at least they came out to do repairs:raro2:
