Domestic Rubbish/Rubble/Waste!

what the hell are all the domestic boys doing with there waste? i must end up with at least 6-7 rubble bags of leftover skim/boards and rubble from hack outs ect.. I'm not even ganna say were mine goes! but i reali need 2 find a better way of gettin rid! i say on all quotes that i will lave rubble/waste in rubble bags on job for free or take then away for £40...
 
I try wherever possible to leave on the job too.but i give them a number of a disposle firm that will take it for them or advice they go tip in there own car to save money.
I just tell em i get charged commercial waste wates at £85 per tone plus vat with a minimum tip fee of £45 and ill want £30 for my time and effort they usually decide to get rid them selves upon hering this !!!
 
i see.. ..............my van is half rubbish half kit every weeknd! i need a yard with a skip in!
 
TBH you shouldn't be taking away rubble unless you've got a waste carriers licence, that is the responsibility of the homeowner. You can take away any waste materials, off cut boards etc. What a farce but the homeowner and you could face a rather large fine of up to £10k I believe. Yep we all need to find a better way to get rid.
 
the fat outta the splash bucket i hate gettin rid of, usually behind that little bush at the back of the garden, out of sight out of mind

Thats very noble of you oasis to leave the rubbish for free. :D
 
I agree skimmin, I always leave rubbish unless it's just the odd bag & I chuck it in the builders skip I work for when I'm on 1 of his jobs.

Oasis if possible why don't you get a skip at your house(until you get a yard) & just chuck your rubbish in each day when you get home & charge customers like you have been doing. ;)

my mate does this & he leaves it on his drive till full & they charge him same if it's there 1 week or 1 month.
 
i did a job for a couple (this was cheltenham oasis) who must have been in their mid 50's, the builder let me in about 8.30 it was a bit of work in a bathroom, when i turned up they were on the pc playing lord of the rings or whatever some sort of role playing game, the house is a complete pigsty no word of a lie neither of them left the computer till i finished at about 5 ish, i come downstairs theyve got dirty plates everywhere havent done any washing up etc and i say have you got a little part in the garden i can pour my dirty water?................just pour it down the sink ....back to the computer ................ ??? ???...............naaaaaaah ;D dirty b*****d ;D
 
all i do is take it home put it rubble sacks into me garage then when ive got enough get 2yard skip £55 .got all reciepts to show its got rid of [legally] comes of tax bill sorted....only troubles when its left over artex smells like nothing on earth after a couple of weeks ;D

I just take dirty water bucket & a clean water bucket to a drain in the street pour it down then scrape set stuff in bottom swill out with clean water pour down then pour rest of clean water around drain takes about a minute ;)
 
take up the floor boards and shove it under there, as with dirty water...all the dust and s**t will soak it up under the floor ;D ;D ;D

what road or area was that then? i bet i could guess the area lol
