Got a call from a sparky mate of mine thu night saying he needs some patching done asap I said ill do it sat just a little job so I thought turned up and celling is f**k*d and walls are covered in tile adhesive huge blobs of the stuff I now have to work sunday as I'm booked up all next week and decor is booked in for wed don't you just love this trade people just think we turn up throw the stuff on the wall and away we go .a lesson learned always have a look at jobs prior to starting

This has happened to me before, for example I was asked to do a job last week in a shop and I was asked to do it in an evening when the shop was closed , I was told a hawk full of stuff would do it :-X it was a different story when I turned up though. It needed bonded beaded then skimmed and it took me 5 hours

I really wish I could charge the earth but they are an elderly couple who's health aint the best. One of them I'm affraid I'm to nice somtimes

same here mate i went to look at a job 2 ceilings to reskim plus a half a days patching was going to charge £850 and dont have the heart to ring ;D
