iv got a big dpc to do in a week or so and have always done the render as a 3:1 scratch with waterproofer and top coat 4:1 with waterproofer just wondered if anyone else did it any difference and if it mattered i wernt adding lime?

I don't normally do em in two coats as such, i scratch as i go and finish it straight off if you know what i mean, but if your not sure just follow the spec supplied by the dpc company, which is what you have just posted really, and don't add lime it can interfere with the additives

We use a waterproofer with a salt inhibitor in it cos you can still get salt coming through the walls as they dry out

I ordered off sovereign at 3pm on a wednesday and as I left for work on thurs at 8am the delivery turned up on my doorstep (london). Great gear that rendermix, works where sika doesnt :RpS_thumbup:

I'm a big fan of KX-11 using it the morn, 7 litres to one bag of cement gives you 100% waterproofing
