dri coat

got a small area to do about 1 mtr but didnt want to go back to skim would it be ok to skim that on the same day or is it risky

All i can say is dont do it, but i have done it the same day and had no comebacks but the substrate was on brickwork that sucked the life out of it, but not recommended.

Well look mate , it will not take you long to apply the dri coat what do you intend to do while it's drying do another job or come back later. at the end of the day if it's dry skim it if not do it another day.

done it loadsa times myself, but you gotta be confident with ya substrate, an some times a handfull of quickcem don't go amiss
