dri wall adhesive

Any of u guys have any issues with thistle dri wall adhesive shrinking. Skim boards joints a few hairlines never had this problem when using thistle bonding. Boards well dabbed.

where do you get ya gear from marra? Jewsons have knauf & Thistle gear. Been working in Morpeth all week and MKM only stock GTEC boards and dab......the dab only covers 8m2 according to the bag..................:-0

Just changed to MKM and they don't stock Thistle dry-wall, believe it's Siniat (Lafarge) stuff the same as their boards.
Never had a problem with cracking either with thistle or any dry-wall adhesive.

Was interested on opinions. Possible old plaster background was too unstable.

The bag has got g-tech on it arti same as all the boards and if you use mkm often enough the prices are not bad especially if your a bare face fooker like me and tell them they are robbing barstewards and walk away from the counter when they give you the final total for order:RpS_lol:

seen guy paper tape joints with board addy prepping for skim didn't seem to have any probs when finished

Yes and it's just the way i like now, i do venture down the road ocassionally and sometimes north of the border but owa old now to be f'n about all owa the place. Otterburn and and Keilder are as far west as i get but i have been known to have the odd week working off shore or Holy Island as you might know it:RpS_lol:
