I have drylined a couple of rooms with plasterboard using dot and dab and intend to use flexible corner tape with the metal edge insert. Is it robust enough to withstand knocks in prone areas or should I use thin coat plaster angle bead in that situation. My question is how do you attach metal bead as there is nothing substantial behind the plaster board to screw or nail into to fix it with dot and dabbed plasterboard. I have considered just gluing it with bonding or should I just use the tape in all areas and forget about the beading.
