How long should you leave sand and cement before top coating .. cut it short- we have a rush on and if i only leave it 2 days should we be ok?

The background was old raked out brickwork with a 4-1 sand and cement with 1 sharp/grit and added fibers lime and waterproofer, top coat will be a 6-1-1

me,, the weather is good now not next week! and also the local council are on are backs saying we cant have are sand and skip outside the job in the area and are trying to force us to move it every day! other than that I'm booked back 2 back till January and were 2 days behind! hard times

So how much further will you fall back if it shrinks and cracks and the punter wants you to rectify it?......I can see yr dilemma, but it's your gamble really mate.

is 3 days a gamble? i used fibers in the scratch coat and a bit of grit to give it body and strength.

the 2 big areas will be 3 days since scratch and the rest of the sides and bits and bobs will have over a week

We've all done it barry, but we all know it's a gamble, and a little bit naughty ;)
ffs, I've put 2 coats on in the same day before, but only when I wanted MFD :-*

as i said mate we are rushed to finish this 1, and also how much longer will this weather last?!
