Hi all, got a stairwell to dryline as the old plaster is concrete render and has completely blown so plaster is cracked and loose. Taking it back to brick and then drylining.

So, was wondering:

1) what size boards are best to use (2400mm X 1200mm)?
2) 15mm duraline or standard 12.5mm wallboards?
3) what is the best way of securing the boards to the wall; wooden battens or drywall adhesive?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you taping or skimming the boards? If you are taping it, use the harder board. Make sure you put extra dabs where the handrail fixings will be.

Always beef up for radiators/ handrails/fittings etc.
I like a moan about other trades but I don't want them moaning about my work :RpS_thumbup:

i just leave the plumber some 4inch screws and tell him not to over tighten them :RpS_lol:
