Peoples opinions var on this one but here is a few options mate , all depends on materials , substrates etc etc
Dub out to 20-25mm max and let set (obviously and heavy key) and so on ( some say 15mm max per dub coat).
Dub out to 15-25 mm depending on material used and then dub out or float coat again if required and key as soon as the material allows , therefore creating a monolithic backing coat/dub coat.
There are arguments for and against on both options , but largely depends on the materials beings used etc etc
for example if i was to dub a breeze wall in s/c then i would wait 24 hrs between coats and dub to a thickness off
15-20mm max per coat . There will be varying opinions on this but if in doubt dub to 15mm max per coat and let set you should not go wrong at that , and has you gain experience and learn how the different materials behave you will learn what you can get away with ...
i think id do it like u said......... and apply the next coat, 24 later.......... knowing my luck it would all fall off if i didnt. lol
just one more question if i apply 2 scratch coats can i use waterproofer to both scratch coats or apply a little less for the second coat and none for the top coat.
