No you're not. I have some Fermacell to finish dabbing. I've only had today off. Poor old me.
thought you cud nt dab that stuff or thats what there training guys in germany taught me when i got a job for xella
you spent money on a hilti to cut plasterboard!! :RpS_blink:
are... you.... fuc.ing.... nuts...???
Well idid a bit of sparring and I recon I've devalued themother in laws house a bit
Yes you can. They make their own bonding compound for it which goes off in 35 mins. Dabs really nicely as it's so rigid but it's a t**t to cut. Had to invest in a Hilti circular saw after a day cutting it by hand.
I don't know how long it's been out. This is the first time i've used it. It's hard going because of the weight and the cutting of it. They recommend 6 mechanical fixings per full board too. I'm using 60mm knock ins.when did they bring a bonding compound out tony,im not trying to be smart serious i worked for them as a technical salesman (not for long i might add) and that was 5 years ago and they certainly didnt have that then,it was the most commonly asked question can we dab em the answer was we dont recomend it
i did the friday/saterday sunday and monday,.... yeahhhh, and tryed to insta stick (foam) insulatedplasterboards on to damp membraine, then rippe them all off and hour later as it was moving all over the place! never rate dabing onto membraine hate it!
did this, fixing at 350 centres.. still when you cut a board it will not land on the fixing, told the guy he said NO iv done it to the book nothing wrong, he said ets £2500 for fixing 2 rooms meter high
