the patches are mostly along the bottom of the wall but there are some about two metres high. The wall is the font elevation of the house. This is an old propety which was oiginally two cottages converted to one. I have been told that its because the house was originally built using lime and cement. The patches are white which has ruined the paint ???

Have you been asked to sort it out? the marks at the lower levels could be due to a damp problem.
