En-suite ceiling needs a re-skim after a number of lights have been moved and the ceiling patched. For info, it's standard plasterboard and I am planning on using multi-finish two-coat.
Whenever I have skimmed in the past I have used PVA, but I wonder if it would be better to use SBR in rooms subject to humidity? I've got both in the garage and so wonder which is best?
On a similar theme, i've seen a few comments regarding using the same mix for 1st and 2nd coat. I've always used separate mixes and never even considered a single mix. Is it better / simpler to use a single mix for smaller rooms?
TIA
