Hi,
I have a single story external wall 10X3m high no windows which needs to be rendered. The problem is that the gap between this wall and a neighbour's parallel wall is 2 foot at best and while you could squeeze a small man down into the gap there is little room to move.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Is their a way of spray rendering from the parapet wall?

Nightmare lad i done one there few months ago could even fit my hawk in , i put blanks on the ground and shoveled motar on to them and reached down with trowel and spread up , nearly took scraped my nipple off too :o , you might be able to spray on failing that just tell them to paint it , it will never be seen, all the best!

Thanks for comments. It's been done to weather proof the blocks (cavity block construction with 100mm+ internal insulation.) Although the parallel wall is also 10m long it is 2.2 m high which leaves a lot of my wall exposed to the elements.

Persuade them to have it done in Hi-Build. At least you could reach down with a roller on a long pole then, and it would be weatherproof.

Builders cocked up mate should have been built overhand in face bricks, years ago the building inspector would have picked up on it and it would have been on the drawing.
