external sand /cement finishes

old school that I am, my render finish is usually a sponge finish,nap finish ,float finish, what finishes would you recommend for a new house, any special tools to create nice finishes.. No spec on the job but I want it nice...
 
Hi John I haven't forgot that brochure ,I personally like a float finish and then the very last thing I like to close in lightly with my trowel, so when it's painted you don't see the open grain of the render.
 
Yes, I do flatten with a trowel. lots of eyes will be on this job,one day scudding, four scratching including tomorrow, waiting for frames before beads go on, then the float finish starts, blessed with the weather, If you drive down mitcham lane, you can spy us corner of fallsbrook rd..

Haha you never know John I might just surprise you ,I'm only working at the oval,how many more days have you got there

all next week on the outside, inside will be ready when a sprinkler systems team is found so a bit away, hoping to do the board work inside, Oval is in my catchment area, I may send the boys looking for you...Great to be local.....
