These are just a few of the many photo's i have taken, the site is a real mess , the scaffold has been up nearly 18 months

The pictures really do not do justice to the absolute mess they made , there must be at least 2 skip fulls off crap in the front yard , loads of set weber stipple , plastering sand full off s**t etc etc it's a bomb site .

you'd want to get that scaffold checked, before you work off it,as bad as the work, still whatever you do it cant be as bad as what the other guys did.

I hope your super charging them for putting all that s hit rite warrior!
have you gotta move all their crap of the lawn aswell?

the guy was originally doin it in sand and cement , but partway through the owner was talkin about mono ( he had seen it on the tinternet) so the builder said yes no probs i will use mono ," save me paintin it " he say's . So they got a weber rep to spec the job , and the builder guy whent on a weber course (2 day's) came back and this is the result.

What have they used for the base coat ?

The base rend is webber stipple, quite expensive i am told , forgot to say that the webber guy that took him on his course and others on the course , told him not to use stipple, but just scratch it in sand/cement then top off in mono, as stipple was too expensive, so he scratched the gable in sand and cement and put about 3mm off webber pral m over the top , trowel d off and said that's it, owner said no ,called rep and the rep said take it off, he aint seen the guy since , i will post some more pics showin the house elevation before then some after i have done , see the difference , got to refit/replace facia and soffits n gutter etc , and when all done get some one to block pave drive , so i think i might be workin over xmas

I would re base coat the lot then stick new beads over the new base coat to get plumb... also get the lead work in place first then re-bead... this is the type of job that gives real spreads a bad name... Get a massive sign made and let the public know that you are fixing this C**p and you didnt start it....

best of luck with the job... we all hope to see the amazing finished result... with a photo of the happy customer...

thats one of the worst ive seen :o but its a sad case that alot of my work lately is putting other spreads work right, and sum of it basic stuff too but it keeps me going , but nothing worse than going over other blokes work who dont give a shxt!!! stuy wet in wales

The thin coat system i did in scunthorpe was a job i took over from 3 firms that had screwed up... as they didnt have a bloody clue and held the job up by months... probably why the builder went into administration owing me £4,500.00 anyway i finished the job and made very very good money on it so i suppose these f***ing chancers do bring in work for us eventually its just a pity the general public cant spot them a mile off and go for the cheapest quote which in the long run ends up twice the price for them....

What I would like to know is why did the the client let it get that bad and did he pay them?

The fella who owns the the house is a great bloke , really friendly and probably too trusting and builder has obviously taken advantage , apparently had probs at home with his kid's and kept feeding client sob story etc , and asking for cash as he went along , but the alarm bells should off been ringing long before it got to that stage.
I will post pic's on completion

Cheers render , i don't know how i would of got on if you hadn't put me right ??? ???

Come of it Warrior you only started this post so that Rendersystems could tell you how to get over it ::)

U say builder rendered that hmmm? Can't of been a builder...looks to me like some1 with basic diy skills has tried to take that on possibly the customer...looking at that job there are things to be taken care of before rendering even begins leadwork etc.

Anyway I don't want to be called a chancer I am confident with sand/cement/lime rendering have rendered large houses no worries without comebacks...I want to get into mono/ocr whats the best way go on the manufacturers course then start small?
