fiber adding 2 multi

to day i tryed sumit new,..i had 2 skim some walls that had 100,000 cracks on it..spider web style..about 2 rolls of skrims worth..so rather that skrim the hole wall!

I went to travis perkings and got some screed concrete fibers..i added loads to my first coat of skim and allso added a bucket trowl of bonding (cuz that allso has fibers in it.)

i mixed it all up put it on the wall the fibers mosly seems to dissapear..i mixed up the second coat..looks just as good as it allways does ;)

ill let u no in the next few days if we have any cracks..am i mad :-/
 
ive done that before and havn't had any come backs yet...... fingers crossed

did the first coat go off real quick
 
not reali cuz its all over skim on painted walls...take AGES fot the skim 2 start turning..which is nice..cuz i take me time flattening ..cleaning..and filling every thing i see..the job is looking like the best job i ever done just cuz on the time im gettin on the walls.
 
trowled up fine..few small fibers around the top coat but they trowl in fine..

next time im ganna try adding cats whiskers ..hamster hair and dry skin..

Ive read this on here before but still havent tried it, gonna have to give this one a go, I have also heard of another way but its alot more expensive with the giant rolls of scrim they use on exteral finishes like stow.
 
i just reskim it .......do the hairline cracks really come back? ...........or if it's cracked that bad shouldnt it be took off?
 
You would think so nicksey but i have come across jobs that have sand and cement on and it has been solid but randomly cracked all over
